Just Paint
These images were taken a few days ago as my wife was putting the finishing touches on her latest painting. All three of these images were shot using a Canon 40D and a Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 II lens wide open at f/1.8.

My Wife's Passion
Both my wife and I are both feeling a bit under the weather due to allergies and a cold we both caught. To raise our spirits and try to put more spring in our step we've been trying to do the things we love. For her that is painting and for me it's photography. So today I took these photographs of her painting a picture inspired by a photograph I took of three pink tulips she planted in our yard.
Here she is working on her painting of three orange tulips.
Here is a closer view of the paint that she has mixed to get just the right shade.
